I don’t build for headlines. I build because too many people are left out of the systems that should work for them — housing, energy, opportunity. I started Carmena Enterprises to do something about it.

Today, I lead a group of ventures focused on turning overlooked land into lasting value and putting power — literal power — back into the hands of the people who need it most.

What I Build:

• Carmena & Associates Realty Group – a boutique brokerage focused on value-add real estate

• GRID Solar Solutions – delivering rooftop and community solar to nonprofits and working families

• ReEnvision Palmetto – a $100M public-private project delivering 140 units: for-sale townhomes, mixed-use rentals, and affordable senior living

Each venture is built on the same idea: if it doesn’t help people, it’s not worth building.

Who am I?
I’m a U.S. Navy veteran, a trained engineer, and a founder with 15+ years of experience in real estate, clean energy, and public-private development. I serve as Secretary of both ReEnvision Palmetto LLC and the Black Farmers Collaborative. In 2024, I was selected as the only Floridian in the NREL Energy Execs Leadership Program — a national cohort of clean energy innovators.

What I Believe:
Development should be personal. Energy should be accessible. Partnerships should be built on trust. And if we want a better future, we have to build it together.

I ride 30 to 40 miles a week to stay grounded. I call Tampa home. And I work with people who care more about lasting impact than loud talk.
